Cesare Rondolino began cultivating rice in 1934, and focused his attention to the rare carnaroli varietal in 1991. The Rondolino family then converted their farm, Colombara, into an organically focused operation in 1998. Since then, they have produced the most beautiful carnaroli rice in the world.
